Thanksgiving is more than a holiday. It is a posture — an ongoing orientation of the heart toward the Giver of every good gift (James 1:17).

Paul's great chain of grace in Romans 8:29–30 traces the full arc of God's redemptive work: foreknown, predestined, called, justified, glorified. Every link in that chain is an occasion for gratitude.

Spiritual Blessings Worth Counting

  • Foreknowledge: God knew you before you knew Him.
  • Adoption: You are not merely forgiven — you are welcomed into the family.
  • Justification: Declared righteous, not because of what you have done, but because of what Christ has done.
  • Sanctification: God is actively at work transforming you into the image of His Son.
  • Glorification: The best is still ahead.

This Thanksgiving, let gratitude go deeper than the table. Let it reach the full measure of grace that has been lavished on you.
